KNB 35L is a nitrile butadiene rubber grade positioned in the medium-high acrylonitrile band, which places it in the sweet spot between strong oil resistance and workable low-temperature behaviour.
Compounders choose it for sealing and hose applications where hydrocarbon exposure is continuous and dimensional stability of the vulcanisate has to hold over long service intervals.
